The ACYMC is the main formation opportunity for Youth Ministers working in schools, colleges, dioceses and movements and anyone interested in this
important work of the Church is welcome to attend.
The Australian Catholic Youth Ministry Convention has been developed to provide a quality event for youth minsters in Australia at an affordable price.
Full Price: $360 – registrations close Thursday August 30th

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS INCLUDE:
Sr Hilda is from the Benedictine Abbey at Jamberoo in NSW. She is known for her role as mentor to a group of 5 women in the television series, The Abbey. Sr Hilda will share with us her depth of experience fostering the personal and spiritual growth of those she works with in retreat and community settings.
Bishop Anthony Fisher OP is the ACBC’s new Bishops Delegate for Youth. He was the Coordinator of World Youth Day 2008 and was installed as third Bishop of the Parramatta in 2010. He is Chairman of the Catholic Education Commission of New South Wales and a member of the Bishops Commission for Doctrine and Morals. Bishop Fisher will be breaking open our convention theme “Rejoice in the Lord always!” (cf. Phil 4:4)
Fr Christian Fini is the founder and National Coordinator of Oblate Youth Australia. Fr Christian is a member of the Australian Catholic Youth Council and has recently completed a book on youth ministry in an Australian context. Fr Christian will discuss the importance of drawing young people into the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community.
Shayne Bennett is the moderator for the Emmanual Community. Together with his wife Shanelle, Shayne established NET Ministries in Australia over 20 years ago and was director for 18 years. Shayne will bring over 30 years of experience in ministry with young people and in the new evangelisation, to identify ways of empowering young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our World today.
