Beliefs and Practices of Australian Catholics | Conference 2014

ACBC PRO Conference logoMuch of what we know about the Catholic Church in Australia today is a result of the work the Pastoral Research Office (PRO) has done over the years.

The Beliefs and Practices of Australian Catholics Conference and the Parish Workshop Day will explore the issues that matter to all Australian Catholics. It will look at the research results and consider what they mean and how we need to respond.

This Conference will take place from: Wednesday evening 19 February to Friday afternoon 21 February.

There will be a Parish Workshop Day: Saturday 22 February

Both events will be strongly informed by research.

The program is filled with a range of informative plenary lectures, symposia and workshops on a variety of topics.

Our eminent speakers include the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Paul Gallagher; Dr Mary Gautier from the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate in Washington, DC; Mr Francis Sullivan, CEO of the Truth, Justice and Healing Council; and the Pastoral Research Office’s Dr Bob Dixon, Mr Stephen Reid and Ms Trudy Dantis.
