Adelaide ready to welcome Catholic youth Media release from the Archdiocese of Adelaide

ACYF BannerGroup registrations are now open for the Australian Catholic Youth Festival being held in Adelaide in December.

With more than 1000 hotel beds already secured in Adelaide for the festival, registrations are expected to run hot over the coming weeks.

The theme of the festival is ‘Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.’ Matthew 5:8. A video promoting the Adelaide festival can be viewed on YouTube.

As well as group registrations opening, organisations can now submit applications to have a stall in the “INcounter” section of the festival. Workshop presenters and performers can also make submissions.

The festival is being held in the recently-expanded Adelaide Convention Centre, in state-of-the-art conference facilities with stunning views of the Adelaide CBD, the River Torrens and the redeveloped Adelaide Oval.

With less than six months until the event is held, Festival Coordinator James Meston said youth groups, individuals and schools were encouraged to start preparing for the festival.

Group coordinators can register themselves and begin registering adult leaders and participants. Coordinators will have access to view and manage all registrations associated with their group to assist with information collection and last minute changes.

Groups can also submit larger registrations via an excel spreadsheet which can be uploaded into the registration system.

Individual registrations will be open soon.
